Everything! Fabulous location for visiting the city with direct access on the Metro from the airport ( Red and Blue lines). From the moment we arrived the service was second to none. Professional friendly staff. The lady receptionist and her colleague at check in were outstanding! Nothing was too much trouble. I asked for a kettle and a tea tray was provided immediately. Breakfast was superb and better than a lot of 4 and 5 star hotels in my opinion. So much choice! Loved the Pancake Machine and the topping dispenser alongside. Never seen one like it before and a very nice addition. Our room was brilliant. I’d booked a small double but was upgraded to a king size room with balcony. Spotlessly clean, super comfy bed and very large wardrobe which housed our very large cases perfectly. Loved the room lighting. A lot of newer hotels have dispensed with practical lighting. Really well lit room with reading and side lights with welcome addition of USB A ports the bedside for ease of charging devices. The shower was large with a sliding shower screen and very nice complimentary toiletries etc. Just perfect!

I chose to stay at Hotel Principe Lisboa based on the recommendation of family members who visited 8 years ago. They were so impressed by the conditions and service that they encouraged me to experience it myself, and I can confirm that the high standards have been maintained even today. The hotel truly lives up to its reputation, and I'm grateful for their recommendation. I would happily recommend it to others as well. I had an amazing stay at Hotel Principe Lisboa! The room was perfect - spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The location is fantastic, with easy access to public transport and close to the city’s main attractions, making it very convenient for exploring Lisbon. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any questions or recommendations. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I’d stay here again. I highly recommend it!

Excellent staff and location. Super pleasant and helpful staff who made our stay very enjoyable. I requested an extension cord when I booked our room, and it was there when we arrived. This, to me, was dedication to doing things that we guest really appreciate. Help was also happily given when we needed to connect with our credit card company. As to location...it is hard to beat. 5 minutes walk to the metro (rail transit) with easy access to the tourist areas. The lines also connect to the airport, as well as the bus and train station. We had a great dinner at a recommended restaurant, and I understand that there are many more within a short walk. This hotel earned more than their star rating (to us) !

The Hotel Principe Lisboa is located away from the busy center of Lisbon, which is ideal for someone who wants a quiet room. It is near the metro station Sao Sebastiao, which is a very central station connecting the blue line with the red line. The former leads to the historical center of the city. Concerning the room, it was comfortable will all the necessities. In addition, the room service was very good. The breakfast, open from 7:15 to 10:30, was a highlight with many salty and sweet options to choose from. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I higly recommend it.

We had high expectations since we have stayed here a few times previously, and we were again delighted by our stay. The staff go out of their way to be welcoming, friendly, and attentive. We love the rooms at the back with a balcony to enjoy an afternoon drink. The breakfast room is lovely, and the options are plentiful. The rooms are well-maintained and very comfortable. But, it is worth stating again. Including checkin, checkout, chatting with the bartender, and interacting with the room attendants, the staff at the Hotel Principe Lisboa are superb!
